Thy Chamber Music Festival has changed its venue after seven years at The Morup Mølle Inn. Our new place is the newly renovated holiday resort “Bakkegaarden”. With its stately spire and cloisters style, it has a history dating all the way back to 1604.

The interior, with its 165 m2 of water park, found its inspiration in Roman design.  A 50 m2 pool is surrounded by impressive columns with flickering torches on the walls. There is a spa, sauna, tanning room, relaxation room etc. And, for before or after a swim,  there is also table tennis, billiards, table football, darts and exercise bikes.

Outside,  there are a multitude of activitiy possibilities:  a playing field, badminton, beach volleyball, petanque, climbing castle, playground, barbecue hut, and a cosy outdoor fireplace. Guests often enjoy relaxing around the 300 m2 patio.

Nearby shopping and a cosy marina are only 1.5 kilometres away.  There is also fine bathing and surfing to enjoy close by in the Limfjord. Denmark's first national park and a bird sanctuary are also in the area.
